| Get the children to help each-other to RIG THE BOATS

| Ask the children to check each-others LIFEJACKETS

| Ask the children if they have SUNCREAM on

| Get the group to check EVERY BOAT and help correct the rigging

| Get the children to name the PARTS OF THE BOAT
|
| Teach them the HAND SIGNALS e.g. all come here, you come here
|
| Revise tacking on-shore

| Revise / Teach them the holding pattern FIGURE OF 8 and get them all to point to the buoys

| Explain the new exercise and get them all to point to the buoys

| Make sure at least 1 INSTRUCTOR IS ON THE WATER BEFORE THE CHILDREN START

| - 1 for the LEARN-TO-SAIL PROGRAMME in Optimists, O-9ers, Mirror
|
| - 1 for the GRADUATE PROGRAMME in Lasers
|
| - 1 to TEACH children who are stuck e.g. in irons, capsized, behind the fleet from the SAFETY BOAT
|
| - FIRST TIMERS JOY RIDE WITH A MORE EXPERIENCED LEARNER, not with the INSTRUCTOR

| If there are extra INSTRUCTORS:

| - 1 repairing boats

| - 1 for IN-BOAT teaching (joy rides) in the Mirror/Hobie/Enterprise
